We are an independent intelligence and news platform that catalogs and analyzes cybersecurity incidents from public sources - forums, official statements, media, cyber channels.

Our role is to document what exists, not to fuel it. If you are a victim of a breach, contact the affected organization or competent authorities.

Our mission

To fill the lack of structured information on cybersecurity incidents in Africa. Each entry is verified, sourced, and classified by confirmation level before publication.

We believe transparency is the first line of defense against cybercrime. Knowing the scale and nature of attacks helps organizations, governments, and citizens better protect themselves.

Methodology

We collect and cross-reference information from multiple sources:

  • Open sources - African and international media, official statements, security reports
  • Cyber forums and specialized channels - Telegram, ransomware forums, Dark Web (passive monitoring only)
  • External reports - via our contact form (systematic verification before publication)
  • Automated monitoring - via public sources and RSS feeds

Each incident is verified before publication. We clearly indicate the confirmation level for each entry.

Confirmation levels

  • Credible Official source (statement, company/government confirmation, direct observation)
  • Potential Announcement by a cyber group or reliable technical source, verification in progress

What we do not do

  • ❌ We do not store any compromised personal data (emails, passwords, numbers)
  • ❌ We do not distribute sensitive data - only metadata (sector, country, type, volume)
  • ❌ We are not a platform for selling or trading data
  • ❌ We are not affiliated with attackers or victims
  • ✅ We document, analyze, and inform - nothing more
